- enamel and copper
intricately painted with distant figures and cottages sheltered amongst a mountainous landscape with greenery along a lake with a bridge and sail boats, encircled by puce borders, the rim with a band of blue archaistic kui dragons reserved on a yellow ground, the base with a puce two-character seal mark reading shangxin surrounded by blue kui dragons on a white background, encircled by a band of eight pink bats amidst multi-coloured clouds against a yellow ground
Condition
The dish is in good condition with the exception of an area of hairline enamel lines (circa 25 x 8cm.) at the interior and exterior of the well and rim at 1 o'clock, a circa 4 x 0.5cm., vertical line of re-touching to the enamel at 3 o'clock with associated hairline enamel lines, a circa 18 x 4 (max) area of enamel re-touching to the exterior rim at 11 o'clock and a circa 10 x 2cm., area at 3 o'clock.
