Condition

The Artist's board is stable. There is some unevenness in the paint layer in the upper right quadrant of the piece which appears to be associated with an under lying layer of wax crayon and is in keeping with the Artist's working method. There are also some scratches in the lower left corner which also appear to be in keeping with the Artist's working method. There is some evidences of abrasion with small associated paint losses at the extreme edges of the board. There are some light surface scuffs scattered across the work, including a diagonal line at the top of the jug and another towards the base. There is some light surface dirt across the piece and three spots of surface matter at the centre left of the jug. The work is presented unframed. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
