The brooch set with an oval-shaped citrine intaglio depicting Europa and the Bull, accented by an oval-shaped rock crystal reverse intaglio depicting two winged putti in a celestial setting, the reverse applied with mother-of-pearl, signed Gage, with English hallmarks; the earrings of floral design, centering two rock crystal reverse intaglios depicting snowflakes, signed Gage; total gross weight approximately 46 dwts. With signed box.

Condition

In very good condition. Each signed Gage, the brooch inscribed 750 for 18 karat gold and stamped with English hallmarks, the earring posts each stamped18K 750 for 18 karat gold. The citrine intaglio is medium slightly brownish yellow and moderately included. The cultured pearls have a silver body color with moderate green and rose overtones. The brooch length approximately 2½ inches. The earrings length approximately 1⅛ inches, with later added posts.
