Description

Comprising: pendant set with an oval cabochon onyx within a polychrome enamel surround, highlighted with cabochon amethyst and seed pearls, suspending a tapered onyx drop and two amethyst pendants, the reverse with glazed locket compartment; together with a pair of ear clips similarly set.
Condition
Onyx dark brown, grey and white, with typical banding, opaque to translucent, amethysts foil-backed, deep purple, transparent, pearls of white body colour with green and pink overtones. Light scratches and surface wear to stone, pearl and enamel surfaces consistent with age and wear. Some areas of light chipping, minor losses and discolouration to enamel. Ear clip screw fittings secure, pendant fitting secure. Glass to reverse of pendant intact. Areas of discolouration and small areas with evidence of solder repairs to reverse of ear clips and pendant. Pendant length approximately 89mm and ear clips length approximately 50mm. Light scratches to surfaces consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
