Gem set and pearl brooch

Designed as a moth, the wings pavé-set with circular-cut sapphires and peridots, the body set with a pearl and a polished garnet, its eyes set with rubies.

Please note that the pearl has not been tested for natural origin. Sapphires blue of medium to medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, some colour zoning, chips and abrasions. Peridots light green with some typical inclusions, chips and abrasions. Signs of normal wear to the metal. Clasp secure, safety catch.
