- Gold, sapphire and diamonds
The cushion-shaped sapphire framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, size N1/2, maker's mark.
Condition
French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, inscribed P SP. Cushion-shaped sapphire measuring approximately 11.92 x 9.50 x 5.63mm, calculated to weigh approximately 5.50 carats, blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions and colour zoning visible with a naked eye, large cavity around the girdle, some surface reaching inclusions and minor abrasions. Diamonds weighing a total of approximately 2.00 carats, on average H-I colour, SI clarity (some I), as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of normal wear to the metal.
