Claw-set with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing approximately 6.50 carats, to a scrolled mount set with brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, size L.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 88001, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heat treatment, measuring approximately 10.8 x 9.85 x 6.5mm, weighing approximately 6.50 carats.
Ruby pinkish red, transparent, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, one surface-reaching inclusion resulting in a cavity to one side of stone on the pavilion, a small number of very minor chips to areas of facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.00-4.00cts. Estimated average colour G-H, clarity VS1-2 on average. Light scratches consistent with wear. In good condition.
