The rectangular black enamel case decorated with single-cut diamond monogram 'E' within two entwined 'L' motifs and diamond thumbpiece, opening up to reveal a compartment, length approximately 142 x 44mm, British hallmarks and maker's marks, fitted case stamped Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd.

Condition

Inside lid stamped 18 and date letter 'r' for 1932. Inside case stamped with London hallmarks and date letter 'r' and maker's mark for Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd. Diamonds bright and lively. Enamel with some light surface scratches, mainly to reverse, a few chips and some areas of repair visible. Lid closes securely, thumbpiece in good working order. Inside case and lid with scratches and some light discoloration commensurate with age. Gross weight approximately 185.5 grams. Overall condition good.
