  • Emerald/ruby/gold
Designed as a basket with a trailing vine set with circular-cut rubies and carved emerald leaves, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

French assay marks and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, signed Cartier Paris, maker's mark for Cartier, and numbered 08856 to brooch fitting. Rubies reddish-pink in colour, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification. Emeralds mid-green in hue, transparent, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching. Pin fittings secure. Scratches to metal surfaces consistent with wear. Overall dimensions approximately 41 x 65mm. In good condition.
