Description

  • gold, enamel, coral, jadeite, aventurine quartz
Composed of six strands of alternating jadeite and coral beads, the clasp set with an aventurine quartz carved as a human face, and applied with a writhing dragon in red enamel, length approximately 170mm.  

Condition

Jadeite pale green, with typical colour mottling and inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching. Coral reddish-orange, one bead carved, possibly a replacement during restringing. Aventurine quartz green, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye. Carved face with minor chip to edge of nose, slightly loose in mount. Enamel with chipping to some areas. Clasp secure. Bracelet width approximately 75mm at widest point. Light scratches to surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition.
