The circular lapis lazuli plaque applied with a gold Sagittarius zodiac sign, accented with a brilliant-cut diamond, the reverse decorated with two gold star motifs, maker's mark for Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French import mak, pendant hook, together with an oval link gold chain, length approximately 730mm, French assay mark.
Condition
Pendant signed VCA, numbered B1948L6, French import and partial assay marks, stamped 750 and 18K for 18 carat gold, stamped ITALY. Chain with French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Lapis lazuli with scratches, nicks and one large fracture to the reverse. Diamond bright and lively. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age and wear. Clasps secure, safety catches. In overall good condition. Total gross weight approximately 114 grams.
