Garnet and diamond brooch

Of shield design, set with an oval and a pear-shaped garnet highlighted with brilliant-cut diamonds, marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds of yellow and orange tints.

Please note that the diamonds of yellow tint have not been tested for natural colour. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Garnets brownish red of strong saturation, good transparency, minor nicks and scratches. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.70 - 5.00 carats, on average H-I colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Clasp secure, sliding safety catch. Signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 24 grams.
