註：曾熙鮮寫畫，偶有涉筆，多花卉，山水極稀，本幅取法陸包山，仍辳髯寫山水偏簡約一路，淺赭為主，間點石綠，色皆淡雅，飄渺自生，與其書法之肅穆渾厚，大異其趣。

畫上具黃起鳳（1889-1941）題跋。黃氏，江西上饒人，幼從父習畫。一九二五年夏由杭遷滬，鬻畫為生，與曾熙為鄰，相與訂交，曾氏稱其為「朝夕評定古今書畫極樂，蓋老年賞心之友也」。
