上款：「盎叟」即王邈達（1878-1968），浙江嵊縣人。出身望族，早年經商，後專研醫葯典籍，懸壺行醫，一九一九年於南麓興建芷湘醫院，任首任院長。四九年後，獲聘為浙江省中醫研究所顧問、浙江省文史研究館館員。他博通經史，精周易，嗜書法，尤擅篆書，與文化藝術界如馬一浮等，甚有往來。

註：高野侯以畫梅稱著，工詩書篆刻，亦兼長中醫學。他與王邈達同年亦同嗜，或因而結交。本冊集梅花十六開，設色、水墨參半，各配咏梅句，皆集前人詩而成，全冊鈐印共四十一方，幾無重複，不少乃其自刻，足見畫家經營時之用心，堪稱其晚年傾力之佳作。
