Oblong folio album (270 x 350mm.) containing 28 various erotic illustrations, of which 27 are watercolour and coloured crayon, and one pencil, red crayon and white chalk, mostly full-page, 2 illustrations with overslips, each titled or captioned by hand, some signed, contemporary half blue cloth over marbled paper boards, titled on hand-drawn paper label decorated with sprays of flowers on upper board, binding slightly rubbed and worn, particularly at spine

A album of amusing and erotic watercolours, captioned with numerous jokes and innuendos. Some of the illustrations are interpretations of existing works, whilst others are works of the author and artist's imagination. Of particular interest are several depictions of sexual encounters on 'Le Train Bleu', the luxury sleeper express train which ran between Calais and the French Riviera.
