Condition

Very good condition overall. Faint hairline scratches and marks throughout the surface top. A few deeper abrasions to one corner of the top, the longest approximately 4 cm. A minor chip to one other corner, approximately 5mm in diameter. Scattered chips to the base of the feet, with two larger chips to one side of one foot, each approximately 1 x 1.5cm.

Johannes Poncet became the owner of Puiforcat in 1943. In 1936, René Herbst had already furnished the new shop of Puiforcat located on Boulevard Haussmann in Paris.
