Condition
The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although it does not convey the texture of the canvas.
The background of the painting is slightly dirty. Under close inspection a pinhole is visible, located at 3.5 cm from the upper edge and 24 cm from the left edge.
There is a light horizontal stretcher mark in the middle of the canvas.
Under close inspection, a light white touch is visible located near the lower edge and likely to be the result of an old retouching (approx. 1 x 1,5 cm).
