Overall very good condition consistent with age and gentle use. Scattered marks, scuffs and scratches to the lead, painted and elements throughout. Minor oxidation and dents to the lead elementsm with some wear at the corners to the door of the main writing compartment.. The grey leather surface with minor marks and wear as partially visible in the printed and online catalogues. The right hand side proper top surface with a a few circular stains and one larger shallow scratch approximately 8cm in length. The left hand side proper top surface with two small areas posessing more prominient marks. The first area has a deeper scuff approximately 5 x 2.5 cm, the other with some loss of material approximately 2 cm in diameter. The red leather writing surface with minor scuffs and scratches, the longest of which is visible in the printed and online catalogues. The red leather behind the drawer handles with minor wear and scratches, particularly on the left hand side proper drawer, as partially visible in the printed and online catalogues.
