Description
- ceramic
with straight flaring sides rising to an everted rim, all supported on a short tapering foot, finely applied overall save for the unglazed foot with a translucent celadon glaze suffused with a network of fine crackles, pooling to a pale sea-green tone in recessed areas
Condition
The glaze is suffused with an overall network of crackle, with some glaze lines (approx. 8) running slightly deeper into the body (ranging from approx. 1-1.8 cm), some minor stains. There is another three-branched C-shaped glaze line running from the side of the washer to the well (measuring approx. 3cm), with associated flaking. There are very minor shallow foot chips and an iron spot run to the interior rim.
