Condition

This work is in very good and sound condition overall. The work exhibits some rubbing of the pigment on the aluminum, some inconsistencies in the surface texture and color, including very light scattered rust, which are inherent to the artist’s chosen medium and working process. Upon close inspection, there is evidence of light dust accumulation to the crevices of the sculpture. The artist’s made base exhibits signs of light wear, particularly to the edges, and the applied foil on the perimeter of the base shows signs of handling and wear with a few minor areas of lifting and loss to the foil.
