Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The canvases are unlined and attached on the reverse at the stretchers. The surface texture irregularities and pigment application are consistent with the artist's choice of medium and working method , particularly in a circular area within the black pigment in the center of the left canvas. There is evidence of minor wear and handling along the corners and turning edges. Under close inspection, there is evidence of some minor scattered surface accretions and some stray medium. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.
