Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly deeper in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals a few spots of light wear scattered intermittently along the edges with some associated unobtrusive specks of loss along the extreme outer edges and a media accretion towards the upper right corner. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals an very thin line of retouching towards the centre of the extreme right edge and a few spots of irregular fluorescence towards the centre of the lower left quadrant, which appear to be inpainting.
