Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. There is wear along the edges and at the corners likely inherent to the artist’s choice of medium. Under close inspection there are scattered, pinpoint surface accretions along all four side edges. The surface irregularities are inherent to the artist’s working method.

Catalogue Note
"We might think of his work as a form of natural archaeology, the rediscovery of materials and processes buried deep within the natural world. The shaping of a river stone, the growth of a great tree...A continuum between man and nature. Universal materials. Flux."
