Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. There is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artist’s working method and a tiny paper loss is visible at the lower left corner. Under very close inspection, there are several small smudges and a few tiny abrasions visible in the pigment and the unpainted paper exhibits several small and unobtrusive flecks, weak handling marks and tiny accretions.
Please note the auction begins at 9:30 am on November 17th.

Catalogue Note
"Colors are organized...so that the eye can travel over the surface in a way parallel to the way it moves over nature. It should feel caressed and soothed, experience frictions and ruptures, glide and drift. Vision can be arrested, tripped up or pulled back in order to float free again."
