Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although there are more blue undertones in the original. The catalogue illustration also fails to fully convey the texture towards the lower left corner, and the yellow areas towards the right edge are much less pronounced in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some unobtrusive drying cracks to areas in the black paint. There is a pinprick sized hole towards the upper edge, approximately 10 cm. from the upper right corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
