Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the black is brown in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. Close inspection reveals some small media accretions and surface scratches in places. There is some dust to the metal part inside the vase. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals several spots of retouching, to the back of the cow's head, to its nose, and towards the upper edge of the brown side, some of which are visible in normal light.
