Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the background colour is lighter, the purples deeper and the blue more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are pencil marks along all edges, which appear to be original. Very close inspection reveals some very light wear the the lower vertical edges. Further close inspection reveals some handling marks and water marks along the right edge and one towards the lower edge approximately 20 cm. from the lower left corner. There are a few small media accretions in isolated places, and there is a surface irregularity in the canvas towards the upper edge, 25 cm. from the upper right corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
