Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals a few small cracks to the thicker areas of impasto, notably one to the skin-coloured paint in the centre of the upper right quadrant; one to the brown paint towards the left edge, approximately 75 cm. from the lower edge; and one to the purple paint to the centre of the lower left quadrant. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
