the rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a wide everted rim, the central interior painted with three boys at play, with four shaped cartouches each enclosing peaches against a diaper ground at the rim, the exterior with two panels of figural scenes in an interior and courtyard between two lines of poems, beneath a floral border, with an apocryphal Chenghua six-character mark at the base,

Condition

The bowl is in good condition with the exception of over-painting to approximately 1/3 of the rim and a short firing crack to the bottom edge of the footring.
