the engraved foliate scroll border with pendants of strawberries, pears and grapes, between three ornate scrolling cartouches centred with constumed figures, dated 1662, initialed AS and MA, later crested

Condition

Clear marks to underside. Assay scrape to rim. Crisp engraving. A little flaking to gilding to inside but generally good.
