Condition

A fine pair of globes in good largely original condition. There are typical signs of lifting and cracks to the gores of each globe notably to the points of axis at the top and bottom. There are minor chips, losses and discoloration to the surface of each gore. The gores have signs of old restorations along the seems. The calendar border also with typical wear. Both compasses are in working order and have some damage to the interiors. The stands show some minor old marks and scratches. The brass dial of the terrestrial globe is possibly later.
