- Ivory, rosewood, mahogany, metal, leather.
comprising one cased astrolabe, three sextants, two in cases one of which labelled National Physical Laborotory, three hourglasses, seven compasses, two telescopes, two drawing sets including mounted ivory instruments and rulers, one with a fitted leather case the other with a fitted rosewood case, one spyglass, a mathematical instrument by W F Stanley in a wooden case, a folding measuring tool and two reels for measuring speed
Condition
In overall good condition, the instruments and respective cases with marks and scratches consistent with age and use, and some tarnishing to the metals, again consistent with age.
