Condition
The canvas is not lined and could benefit from a re-stretching. There are some spots of retouching to the centre of the left edge and towards the centre of the composition, notably in the blue pigment, visible under UV light. There are a few small additional dots of retouching to the girl's dress to the centre of the right edge and to the window to the upper left corner. There are some flecks of paint loss in places, predominately to the upper part of the composition and to the centre of the left edge. There are some scattered dots of mould, predominately to the beige pigment in the upper left and lower right quadrant, which can be removed by a professional restorer, as visible in the catalogue illustration. This work is in overall good condition.
