Description
- Bronze, cloisonne enamel
- Haut. 18 cm
en forme de pigeon, dressé sur ses pattes, la poitrine bombée et la tête tournée légèrement vers la gauche, la tête bleu foncé et le corps vert, les ailes et le dos formant un couvercle amovible, les ailes stylisées aux contours soulignés en bronze doré aux plumes chatoyantes bleu, vert et rouge ; avec un autre brûle-parfum en bronze doré et émaux cloisonnés en forme de pigeon, Chine (4)
Condition
Both pigeons with overall minor losses to the enamels along the edges, some later filled in. There is overall light wear to the holding. The eyes are inlaid with glass cabochons, the legs on the main pigeon may have been reattached or reinforced where they join the body. The colours are vibrant.
