Condition

Pêcheur et Bergère : laid down on a card, overall fairly good condition. Tiny brown stains bearly visible and one small circular stain behind his head (the fisher boy), small loss in the lower right corner (the shepardess). Abel and Cain : Attached to the upper margin, overall good condition, medium is strong, small stains in the upper left corner. Scattered foxing on the left section of the sheet. Etude de putti : partially laid down. Overall in good condition. Sheet has slightly buckled, medium is strong. Caprice : Hinged at the upper right corner. Light brown staining throughout, medium is fairly strong. Follower of Gelée : Laid down. Light scattered foxing throughout, fairly good condition, bears an old attribution to Claude Lorrain on the mount. Fisher men : Light stains in the upper left and right corner. Small area of restoration in the upper centre. Pen and ink strong Parc ombragé : Attached to the mount on left and right margin. Two tiny holes in the left corner. Medium fresh and vibrant
