the steeply rounded sides rising to an everted rim, the exterior with two finely incised and green-enamelled dragons pursuing flaming pearls among cloud scrolls and flames above crashing waves, the interior and base reserved in white, the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue

Condition

The bowl is in general good condition, except for a tiny frit to the rim and a tiny kiln adhesion below it, along with very few small iron spots and burst bubbles in some areas. There is a horizontal staining to the glaze to a section of the exterior around ca. 8mm below the rim.
