of rectangular form, carved to the top with a stylised beast mask, the stone of a pale celadon colour with russet areas

Condition

There are expected minute bruises and nicks along the edges and a few shallow chips to the reverse of the scabbard slide. The catalogue illustration is a tinge brighter than the actual colour of the stone.
