Catalogue Note
A group of material by Kazuo Koizumi related to his father Lafcadio Hearn, including a humorous poem recounting an agent trying to sell Hearn manuscripts to famed antiquarian booksellers James F. Drake, Inc of New York. The poem features a drawing of a young duck (or, drake), and makes light of the bookseller's apparent struggles with the classic Greek name.
