Description
- wood and gilted bronze
- Haut. 68 cm., larg. 93 cm. ; Height 26⅔in., width 36⅔in.
with carved armrests on sabre legs, with griffins, palms and shells; (these benches will be sold without their panther skin upholstery)
Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are woodworms traces. The feet of one bench have been reinforced with wooden blocks. The gilt-bronze elements are rubbed and tarnished. Both constructions are firm. Please note that the pair of benches is sold without the panther fur visible on the catalogue illustration.
