skilfully rendered with slender legs resting beneath the body, the neatly combed mane and sideswept tail finely detailed with incisions, the body further rendered with a well-pronounced spine, the lustrous stone of a warm greyish-celadon colour highlighted with attractive dark patches and russet veins

Condition

The figure is in overall good condition. There are minute nibblings to the fragile extremities, including the edges of one hoof. A section of the left front leg has possibly been lightly polished to conceal an earlier nick. There is also light pitting to the stone.
