skilfully modelled and reticulated as a recumbent deer resting against jagged rockwork, the animal depicted turning its head over its back and gazing upwards at the moon and partially enveloping ruyi cloud scrolls, the scene further decorated with a lingzhi spray, the stone of a pale celadon-white colour accentuated with russet skin, concentrating particularly to the deer's head and lingzhi blooms

Condition

There are insignificant nicks and tiny polished areas as well as natural areas of weaknesses to the stone. The plaque is otherwise in good condition.
