Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There is a pattern of fine craquelure throughout and a stretcher mark is visible corresponding to the horizontal stretcher member. Ultra-violet light reveals strokes of retouching in the lower and left framing edges and other minor, small isolated spots including to the right of the signature, in the central column in the background, and in the upper right corner. This picture presents well and is otherwise in good overall condition.
Presented in an elaborate gilt frame.
