Description

  • Silver, Wood, Shagreen, Ivory
  • tallest 17.1cm., 6 3/4 in. high
comprising: a pair of tea caddies and a sugar box and cover, architectural form with flame finials, the covers with teapot finials, the sides chased with incidents from the New Testament (Jesus walking on water and the Good Samaritan) above agricultural scenes, among scrolling foliage, the caddies with sliding covers, all on scrolling bracket feet, the casket with ivory band, unmarked silver handles, lock-plate and, claw and ball feet

Condition

Good clear marks to all sections, apart from on casket. The shagreen with a little damage but generally good. Case is probably not original and earlier.
