Condition

Generally good and a decorative piece. The timber of a dry appearance in places with old marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. The veneers with some old marks and losses. The bronze tarnished and re-gilt. The upper section: The top with some lifting to veneers and some minor patching. It appears stable. With two shaped glass shelves. The velvet lining generally good but with some later securing tape and marks from porcelain that has been displayed. The lower section: The right side with some lifting to veneers, cracks and losses. The painted front with craquelure and old marks and scratches most visible in catalogue photo. This is an impressive piece that comes to part in two pieces for moving.
