Description

oval, reeded border and handles, the domed covers engraved with a coat-of-arms and bright-cut decoration around the cast urn finial 

Condition

Both clearly marked to covers and bases. The finials unmarked. The marks to the interior covers a little rubbed. The bases with early 1784 incuse duty mark. Neither cover first perfectly well with its body. No obvious repairs but general surface wear commensurate with age and use.
