- Italian School, late 18th century
- Two capriccio views of Italianate river landscapes
- a pair, both oil on canvas, shaped
- Each irregular 95cm by 74cm

Anonymous sale, Paris, Beaussant-Lefèvre, 8 June 2007, lot 56.
Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is clean and the varnish is glossy, possibly due to recent cleaning. Under ultra violet inspection there is thorough retouching in the sky. There is also some in the foreground and middle distance in the water, and some further strengthening to the trees. There is a thin but uneven layer of vanish. Overall the painting is in good condition. The work is offered in a carved and moulded gilt wood frame, in good condition.
