gouache with gold on paper, mounted with borders of gold-decorated buff paper, inscriptions in Persian and Devanagari the lower border identifying prince Murad Bakhsh, reverse with four diagonal lines of Persian poetry in nasta'liq script

Good overall condition, coulors bright, very minor creases and stain spots, as viewed.

Catalogue Note
Prince Murad Bakhsh was one of the sons of Emperor Shah Jahan. He was born in 1624 and was executed in Gwalior Fort in 1661, early in the reign of his brother Aurangzeb.
