Persian manuscript on paper, 171 leaves, plus 2 flyleaves, 21 lines to the page within 4 columns written in nasta’liq script in black ink, incomplete, headings in blue, gold, red or bordeaux, 8 miniatures, 4 illuminated headpieces in Kufic script in white ink within a gold cartouche on a blue foliated ground, in later black morocco binding

Condition
Heavy smudges stains due to an exposure to humidity, several leaves affected by cuts, trims and tears, most notably: f.73 with a missing corner, f.74 and 80 with tears, f.81 and 86 with several losses to the margins, f.137 and f.139 with losses text as well, f.138 with only very minor text surviving and f.153 with a trim; heavily water stained and other various stains throughout, the headings and paintings discoloured and with considerable losses, as viewed.
