Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals some very tiny spots of retouching to the extreme upper edge. There are some minor areas of pigment loss to the edges, particularly to the lower edge, associated with frame rubbing. There are some fine lines of stable craquellure throughout the composition. The colours are bright and fresh and there is a lovely impasto. This work is in overall good condition.
