Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the background tends more towards cream in the original work.
The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined.
Along the lower edge, the threads of the canvas have been stretched. The edges present some faint wear marks. Webs of hairline cracks and some tiny uplifts are visible mainly on the black areas.
Under Ultra Violet light inspection, some of the above mentioned stabilized cracks and uplifts fluoresce.
